As one of the old geezers, I thought I would check in and add to the stuff. Can't let the youngsters carry us away.

This is a great way to keep in touch and up to date. I am learning as I go so my expectations for significance on my part are very low. At least I get to test a post.

This post is mostly just a test post. Actually, it's more of a back-end administrative post. Blogger (the service that hosts this free website) gives users the capability of uploading a photo of themselves into their profile. However, it requires that this photo be online somewhere on a website.

So I'm posting my Dad's photo on our own website here so that it will be online. Then he can go in and add it to his profile. Neato!

If any of you want to have a photo in your profile and don't already have that photo on a website somewhere...just let me know and I'll do this same trick for your picture.

I blog a lot. Not tons...but I participate on several blogs...some related to work, some just for fun.

I'm writing these posts, not to hog the website...but to give you a showcase of not only the capabilities of this site, but how easy it is to use. You don't even have to write a lot, so it doesn't have to take much time. This post I actually wrote so I could take screenshots of the process to put in the how-to guide I made you guys.

To prove that, I'm going to upload a few of my favorite photos from the trip Amy and I made out for Thanksgiving.
