Family Tree

Hey all,

I ran across this free site for keeping track of family information. Essentially you can register and invite people to join which will help expand and detail the family tree. It might be a way to keep track of things etc. Anyway, if you're interested in taking a look it's www.geni.com. I didn't want to spam the entire family with invitations to join if its something you're not going to worry about, but if you're interested, you can email me (ryanalanscott(at)gmail(dot)com) and I'll invite you into the tree, so you'll have access to what I've added thus far.

Anyone Home?

Thought I'd try to restart a little family love here, seeing as how my son's birth announcement killed any and all conversation. We must have had a Seinfeld baby.

I am getting ready to leave for Iraq this week sometime, so I would ask for all of your thoughts and prayers for Mindy and I and the boys. This will be pretty tough- even though we've done this before, we didn't have kids the last time. A year or more away will be a pretty big challenge.


I'm planning on posting updates to our blog when I can get the chance (depending on how we're set up there). Hopefully Mindy will get to see some of you while she's back in the States, and I'll be back for mid-tour leave at some point as well. I just wanted to tell you all I was thinking about you and hoping all was well. Please drop us a line sometime when you get the chance!
